The "Mercato nel Campo" returns to Piazza del Campo on the first weekend of December. Two days to relive the atmosphere of the historic "Mercato Grande," which was held once a week in 13th-century Siena and featured a display of typical agricultural, craft, and manufacturing products. The stalls, set up in the evocative shell of the Campo di Siena, will showcase the best food, wine, and handicrafts to bring to life a one-of-a-kind event in the footsteps of what happened in the Middle Ages.

During the two days of the Market, Siena will also host a rich program of events dedicated to taste with workshops, cooking shows, children's activities, music, theater and literature.
