Vivi Fortezza
The Medici Fortress transforms into a summertime gathering spot with several cultural festivals, outdoor movies, sports, healthy living, and food and wine!
The Associazione Propositivo and the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Siena collaborated on the Vivi Fortezza initiative to rehabilitate the Fortezza Medicea, one of Siena's historic locations.
The goal of Vivi Fortezza is to improve the neighborhood as a whole by turning it into a center for leisure, relaxation, and public access to cultural, cuisine, and wine activities. An opportunity for development to make the neighborhood more appealing to outsiders, a novel experience in the city, an attraction, and an enrichment for all.
The program, which was developed by the association Propositive (Pro +) in partnership with several local and national representatives of the cultural, musical, and sporting scenes, includes reviews of music, art and culture, sports and wellness, food and fairs, family activities, and movies.
