Chianti Sculpture Park
art and nature meet in a magical place
The Chianti Sculpture Park is a permanent exhibition set in an evocative forest of oaks and holm oaks in Pievasciata, about 15 kilometers from Siena.
The park, which opened in 2004, brings together the sculptures of 24 artists from around the world, who were invited one at a time to this location to choose a spot and make a sculpture proposal that is as connected as possible with the surrounding environment.
This ensures that the sculptures blend in perfectly with the colors, sounds, light, and other elements of the forest.
